The 6th of June 2024 marks the 80th Anniversary of the Normandy landing, which the UK is commemorating with a series of events across the UK and in France.
Newington Parish Council invites you to join us for the lighting of a beacon in honor of an international tribute, on from 8.30pm on Thursday 6th June 2024.
Arrive from 8.30 pm – Tea/Coffee/Light Refreshments
Lighting of the Beacon 9:15 pm
The beacon is located in the field outlined in yellow on the map below, on the right hand side as you leave Newington towards Warborough. Parking is available at the top of the field, please enter the field through the gate in the location of the yellow triangle in the below image.
